We can see in the foreground, one of the two chariots sculptor Higinio Basterra, symbolizing power and strength, crowning the former headquarters of the Banco de Bilbao in Madrid later BBVA, and currently, counseling Environment and Spatial Planning. A contemporary building built in 1923 by architect Ricardo Bastida and Bilbao. On the right side of the picture we can see the facade of the former headquarters of the Spanish Credit Bank, booking, also called the Fair Palace, by American society that built by the architect José Riera Grases. In 1920 the Spanish Credit Bank, bought the building and commissioned the architect Joaquín Saldaña, to embellish the facade, the German sculptor A. Knipp a sculptural group representing the child protection was responsible. This can be seen today in the Plaza del Campillo New World. In the background you can see the square Canalejas.
BIOGRAPHY
Born in Malaga on 23 June 1963, although she spent several years in Cadiz, before moving to London
Her art studies were performed by:
-Foundation Course de la Heatherly School of Art
-Art Degree en Byam Shaw School of Art, Saint Martins School of Art.
Preferred her painting themes are the sea and cityscapes
Since 1989, lives in Madrid, a city that has been portrayed many times with her characteristic style, full of sensations, contrasts and proportions game
Other cities that have painted a lesser extent are Lisbon, Havana, New York and Barcelona
